LOCATIONS

Transitional Housing — Each location serves families trapped in the cycle of homelessness. The cycle is broken through transitional housing programs by helping families set goals to gain independence, stability and to reconnect with the community for supportive services, housing and employment.

Family Housing —  This provides permanent supportive housing to graduates of the transitional housing program.

Senior Housing — HMHI has sponsored, developed and manages four HUD Section 202 Supportive Housing for the Elderly apartments and one Senior Tax-Credit apartment. Residents must be 62 years or older with limited income. Rent is based on each individual’s adjusted income. Each unit has one bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen and individual heat and air conditioning. A large community room and several common area spaces are included. Supportive services in all 202’s include links and referrals to transportation, meals, housekeeping, personal needs, home health care and senior activities.

Supportive Housing for Young Men Aging Out of Foster Care — Opportunity House is the first program providing Permanent Supportive Housing for the male segment of this population in Cuyahoga County. It targets 18-24 year old homeless men who have aged out of foster care and have a diagnosed disability.

Collaborative to End Human Trafficking - The mission of the Collaborative Initiative to End Human Trafficking, located in Cleveland, Ohio, is to educate and advocate for the prevention and abolition of human trafficking, while connecting services on behalf of trafficked persons.
